AI Agent block on all paid plans, compatible with web, WhatsApp and Messenger. AI chats are metered separately: 100 included on Starter, 300 on Professional, 500 on Professional WA, none on Free. Extra AI chats cost $0.10 (EUR 0.10) each. The block lets you pick an AI model in its configuration, but the default provider is not named on the pricing page or the AI Agent help article. The help center also documents custom integrations with OpenAI, Google Gemini and DeepSeek through your own API keys.

Strengths and limits
Where it is strong
- One visual builder runs the same flow on website chat, WhatsApp Business API and Facebook Messenger, with human takeover into a shared inbox from the $45 Starter plan.
- Published usage prices: $0.05 per extra chat, $0.10 per extra AI chat, $25 per extra seat, and alerts at 80% and 90% of the chat allowance.
- Free plan with 100 chats per month and no time limit, plus a 14-day trial of all features without a card.
- Public API and SDK, an MCP server for building bots from Claude or other MCP clients, and native HubSpot, Salesforce, Calendly, Stripe and Zapier connections.
Where it falls short
- No Instagram or TikTok channel, so there is no Instagram DM automation or comment-to-DM at any price.
- WhatsApp with your own number starts at about $210 to $220 per month on monthly billing (Professional plus the WhatsApp add-on), and each template message adds a EUR 0.05 Landbot fee on top of Meta's rate.
- The Stripe payment block and the Calendly booking block work only on web bots, not on WhatsApp or Messenger.
- A number connected to Landbot cannot be used in the WhatsApp Business App at the same time, according to the WhatsApp pricing FAQ.
Skip it if your leads come from Instagram comments or DMs. Or if you want to take payments or book meetings inside WhatsApp with a native block. Or if you need WhatsApp automation for under $200 per month.
