Best WhatsApp chatbot builders for small business in 2026: SendPulse, Tidio, AiSensy, WATI and 5 more compared on pricing

Updated:

For a small business that wants to sell on WhatsApp, SendPulse gives the most for the price: a chatbot builder, a CRM and payment buttons in the chat from $12 a month. If you only need answers to customer questions, Tidio connects WhatsApp on every plan, the free one included. AiSensy has a free plan with the WhatsApp API, but its chatbot builder is a paid add-on.

What it really costs

The plan price is only the first line of the bill. Meta charges for WhatsApp messages by country and message type, and the tool passes that fee on. Since 1 October 2026, Meta also charges for replies inside the 24-hour customer service window, after 1,000 free ones a month per number, according to SendPulse and AiSensy.

Check what the plan leaves out. AiSensy sells chatbot flows as an add-on on top of every plan, and Tidio sells its flows and its AI agent as add-ons too. Landbot includes the builder but needs its Professional WA plan, at $220 a month, before you can connect your own number.

Ask about the markup as well. respond.io and Tidio state they add none to Meta’s fees. Interakt says it adds one below its Enterprise plan. The rest publish their own rate tables without saying either way.

Which one to pick

You sell through WhatsApp. Pick SendPulse for a CRM and payment buttons from $12 a month.

You mostly answer questions. Start with Tidio, where WhatsApp costs nothing on the plan.

You send broadcasts and rarely chat. Look at AiSensy.

WhatsApp is your main channel and the team is growing. Look at WATI.

You also run Instagram. The WhatsApp and Instagram chatbot builders page compares tools that automate both.
