Best Instagram automation for beauty salons in 2026: book appointments from DMs with Meta Business Suite, Chatfuel, Kommo, SendPulse and 4 more
Updated:
A salon that already books through Fresha or Vagaro can add a Book now button to its Instagram profile for free through Meta Business Suite, and answer price questions with keyword replies. For a bot that books the appointment inside the DM, Chatfuel’s AI does it on the $20 Business plan, and Kommo adds booking pages to a client pipeline. SendPulse suits salons that take a deposit before the visit, with payment buttons in the chat.
From DM to appointment
Salon DMs ask three things: what a service costs, when there is a free slot, and whether the client can book. Prices and opening hours are easy to automate with keyword replies or a short flow. The slot is the hard part, because the bot has to read the salon’s calendar.
Salons usually keep that calendar in a booking system such as Fresha or Mindbody. None of the DM automation tools we track has a native integration with them. Meta lists Fresha and Vagaro as partners for a Book now button on Instagram, and every tool here can send your booking link in the DM.
A few tools book inside the chat instead. Chatfuel, Kommo, HighLevel and Kosmo use their own calendars, and Flowgent and SetSmart offer free Calendly slots in the conversation. This suits salons that do not use Fresha or Vagaro, or that are willing to move their diary.
No-shows are the other cost. A deposit taken in the DM, through SendPulse’s payment buttons or HighLevel’s payment links, holds the slot before the client arrives.
