Strengths and limits
Where it is strong
- Instagram integration is included on every plan, including Free. DMs, story replies, story mentions and comments land in one inbox alongside Messenger, WhatsApp, email and live chat.
- Visual Flows builder works on Instagram with a 'Visitor Says' intent trigger, a Story Reply trigger (by emoji/reaction), questions with validation, quick replies, buttons, card messages, tags, delays and Zapier hand-off.
- Billing counts only conversations a human agent answers. Flows and Lyro replies are not billable, which keeps DM automation cheap at low human volume.
Where it falls short
- No comment-triggered automation: Instagram comments become tickets you answer manually (public reply or hide), so comment-to-DM funnels are not possible.
- Flows are metered by 'visitors reached' (100/month on Free, 2,000 for $29/mo) and the AI agent is a separate paid quota from $39/mo for 50 conversations.
- Creator accounts are not supported. The Instagram account must be a Business account linked to a Facebook Page.
- Self-serve plans are capped at 10 agents and 2,000 billable conversations. Above that is Plus at $300/mo plus usage.
Skip it if your main use case is 'comment KEYWORD to get the link' automation on posts or Reels. Or if you need Instagram Live or follow-based triggers. Or if you are a creator account rather than a business account.
