Strengths and limits
Where it is strong
- Instagram comment-to-DM with keyword match, public comment reply, story reply, story reaction and story mention triggers are documented and available on every plan, including Growth at $69 per month.
- One inbox and contact record for WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and TikTok, with AI Assist on Pro and Business able to ask Instagram leads for a WhatsApp number and save it for WhatsApp campaigns.
- Native HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Shopify, WooCommerce and Calendly integrations, a public API, Zapier, Make and n8n guides, and an MCP server documented in the help center.
- Prices are published in USD and INR with monthly, quarterly and annual billing, and annual billing lowers Growth to $59 per month.
Where it falls short
- Each plan caps automation triggers (1,000 Growth, 2,000 Pro, 5,000 Business per month), and every rule or chatbot run counts, so high-volume comment campaigns need paid trigger add-ons ($300 for an 8,000-trigger block).
- Growth allows 3 users with no option to add more, and only one Instagram account can be connected below the Business plan ($349 per month).
- Message fees follow Wati's own rate card. The linked rate card PDF is dated 1 Feb 2025 and Wati does not say whether it includes a markup over Meta's rates.
- Trustpilot shows 3.0 from 273 reviews. G2 blocked automated access, so no G2 score is recorded.
Skip it if you need more than 3 team members but want to stay under $149 per month. Or if you run large Instagram comment giveaways with tens of thousands of commenters and want flat pricing without per-trigger limits. Or if you need a native Stripe, Zendesk, Gorgias or salon and restaurant booking integration.
